The name Oak and Sol is boldly rooted in the British Isles, the totem tree of this land that we need to protect through responsible choices - dialled in to the abundant golden energy of the sun. It is named after Dan's two sons, to remind him of the true reason behind his work.
Why apply through us?
Applying for eco grants can be a mine field - fiddly paperwork, fussy compliance trails with endless back and forth, unreliable lead gen companies who keep you hanging for months on end - and that's before you even get to finding a reputable installation company who you can trust.
That's why at Oak & Sol we do this all for you to save you the hassle and time, streamlining the eligibility assessment, application process and connecting you with an installation team we're proud to be assosiated with.
Unfortunately not every installer works to the same standards, so we have spent a lot of time vetting the installers we use, and I'm happy to say that the teams we work with now are top notch - reliable, customer focussed, with a truly ethical approach and an industry leading level of experience and expertise.
Why is the grant good for you?
Spending a wacky (and ever increasing) proportion of your hard earned cash on oil/LPG and/or electricity?
Concerned about energy price spikes in the coming years?
Want to decrease your carbon footprint to help preserve the earth for future generations?
We utilise the ECO4 grant to help you achieve energy and heating sovereignty through installations of solar panels, renewable heating systems and insulation - reducing your reliance on fossil fuels, sky rocketing your property's efficency whilst plummeting the costs

Journey
About the grant
The ECO4 grant is a government backed, OFGEM regulated grant which offers fully funded installations of solar panels, energy efficient and renewable heating systems and insulation for eligible households. It is fully funded by the UK energy companies, and is at no extra cost at all to the customer.
The ECO4 scheme as a whole has delivered over 419,500 measures across more than 100,000 homes since it started in July 2022. The average saving per household after all measures have been installed is around £70/month
Dan has helped more than 20 households across the South Hams and Mid Devon successfully apply for the ECO4 grant, with 10 completed installations and many more currently processing.
